Responsibilities
- Perform professional body massage treatments using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or aromatherapy massage to meet client needs
- Assess client conditions and preferences to customize massage sessions effectively
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with hygiene standards
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness routines
- Ensure proper documentation of treatments provided and client feedback for continuous improvement
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to health regulations to ensure client and staff safety at all times
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing training
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering professional body massage therapy with excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to perform effective treatments safely
- Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for massage therapy practitioners
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear guidance
- Ability to create a relaxing atmosphere that promotes trust and comfort for clients
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
