Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to ensure safety and security.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening appropriately to prevent incidents.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by assessing the situation and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by verifying identities and guiding them through security procedures.
- Provide first aid assistance when needed, following established protocols to support injured individuals until professional help arrives.
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
- Excellent observational skills combined with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining focus on security duties.
