The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for either a Qualified Dental Nurse or an enthusiastic individual wishing to train as a Dental Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team.
Applications are welcome from qualified dental nurses with or without orthodontic experience. Previous orthodontic nursing experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will support our clinicians in delivering high-quality specialist orthodontic care whilst developing a wide range of clinical and digital skills.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning, embraces new technology and wants to grow with our practice as we continue to invest in our team, our facilities and the care we provide to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during orthodontic treatment.
- Preparing surgeries before and after patient appointments.
- Instrument decontamination and sterilisation in accordance with HTM 01-05 guidance.
- Working within the Local Decontamination Unit (LDU).
- Taking digital intra-oral scans using the latest scanning technology.
- Using our Software for Dentists (SFD) practice management system (training provided where required).
- Manufacturing Essix retainers following appropriate training.
- Assisting with reception duties when required.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Assisting in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Providing excellent patient care and customer service at all times.

Essential RequirementsQualified Dental Nurse
- GDC registered Dental Nurse.
- Right to work in the UK.
Trainee Dental Nurse
- No previous dental experience is required.
- A genuine interest in dentistry and a willingness to undertake Dental Nurse training.
- Right to work in the UK.
