As our Maintenance Assistant you will…
- Decorate bedrooms and public areas
- Carry out basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Basic plumbing and some electrical
- Install, inspect and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and systems
- Carry out work on the hotel grounds mowing lawns, cutting hedges, and keeping the outside tidy
- Liaise with contractors and external providers to carry out work activities
- Actively contributes to the safety of people and property (ensuring safety exits remain clear of obstruction etc.)
- Take responsibility for identifying areas of improvement within range of operation, including risk awareness

To ensure you will be successful in your role you will need to ....
- Be well presented and polite at all times
- Possess a full driving licence and own transport
- Be flexible when it comes to working hours some weekend work involved
