We are a growing creative agency looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team and help drive Canny Creative's marketing efforts forward.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to build hands-on experience across content creation, social media, SEO, video production, and digital marketing within a growing creative agency. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent as the business continues to grow.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Client Delivery Lead to execute our marketing strategy, create engaging content, support client projects, and help grow Canny's presence across social media channels.
Who We Are
Based in Blyth (just outside of Newcastle!), Canny Creative builds brands and websites for clients all over the world, from Canada to Japan and the UK.
We're a small, ambitious team that believes in doing great work without the corporate nonsense. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a driven Marketing Executive who can help us turn great ideas into great content.
We care far more about attitude, curiosity, and your ability to get things done than we do about how many years you've spent working in marketing.
If you're creative, organised, proactive, and excited about building a career in marketing, we'd love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For
We're not necessarily looking for the person with the longest CV.
We're looking for somebody who is curious, enthusiastic, creative, and willing to learn.
You might be a recent graduate who lives and breathes social media. You might already be creating content in your spare time. You might have grown your own audience online or helped a business improve theirs. You understand what makes people stop scrolling, engage with content, and take action.
What matters most is that you're proactive, eager to develop your skills, and excited by the opportunity to help build Canny's marketing engine.
If you're the sort of person who spots opportunities, takes initiative, and enjoys turning ideas into finished content, you'll fit right in.
