We are seeking a motivated and reliable Workshop & Delivery Employee to join our team.
This role is a unique combination of hands-on workshop fabrication and UK-based delivery driving, offering variety and the chance to develop a range of practical skills. The successful candidate will split their time roughly 50/50 between the workshop and delivering goods, ensuring both high-quality products and excellent service to our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in the quality of their output, and is happy to work in a flexible, varied environment.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop / Fabrication
- Carry out accurate milling and fabrication of parts and components.
- Assemble products with care, ensuring finished work meets high standards.
- Use workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe workshop environment at all times.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, reporting shortages or requirements to management.
- Take pride in work produced and demonstrate attention to detail.
Deliveries / Driving
- Collect and deliver goods safely across the UK, following schedules provided by management.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record. A 7.5t licence is an advantage, but not essential.
- Represent the company professionally to customers during deliveries.
- Plan and manage delivery routes effectively to meet customer deadlines.
General Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small, supportive team, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other workshop or operational tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility.
Requirements
- Previous workshop or fabrication experience preferred, but training can be provided.
- Ability to perform accurate milling and assembly with attention to detail.
- Clean UK driving licence; 7.5 tonne Licence an advantage but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to variable working hours.
- Takes pride in work, demonstrates high attention to detail, and maintains a tidy workspace.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills across workshop and delivery duties.
