Overview: We are currently seeking a part time delivery driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers on a minimum of two days per week. Extra hours/days are available to cover busy periods and holiday/sick cover. Core days - Wednesday and Thursday 8am - 4pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work on a Wednesday and Thursday. Must be over 25 for insurance reasons. Clean license preferred.
Duties:
- Drive a van to deliver goods to various locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any issues promptly
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid UK driving licence with commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly
