Croma Fire & Security is looking for an experienced Electronic Door Engineer to join our expanding Door Solutions team based in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role, working across installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding on a range of electronic door and security systems for commercial and domestic customers.
You'll be provided with a company vehicle, ongoing support from an experienced operations team and the opportunity to work for one of the UK's most trusted security providers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and commissioning:
- Automated doors
- Door entry systems
- Access control systems
- CCTV systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
- Attending reactive service calls
- Completing job documentation electronically
- Liaising with customers and internal teams
- Managing vehicle stock and equipment
- Participating in a minimal call-out rota
What We're Looking For
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience installing and servicing one or more of the following:
- Automatic doors
- Access control systems
- Door entry systems
- CCTV systems
- Electronic security systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable
- Automatic door experience
- Access control experience
- Industry certifications
- Knowledge of NSI and BAFE standards
- Experience within the fire and security industry
