SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics client based in Ely, Cambridgeshire (CB7).
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday day work, multi-drop deliveries, and the flexibility of ongoing assignments or ad hoc shifts to suit their availability.

- £14.85 per hour PAYE (holiday accrued separately)

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Multi-drop deliveries across the local and surrounding areas
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer sites
- Completing approximately 5–20 deliveries per shift (route dependent)
- Loading and unloading the vehicle where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections
- Completing delivery paperwork and proof of delivery accurately
- Reporting vehicle defects or transport issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service while representing SR Drivers and our client
- Complying with Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times

Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication skills
- No major driving endorsements
