Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for deliveries. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and efficient warehouse operations. 15:00pm - Finish
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pack meat products for delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Handle materials with care, following safety protocols during all packing processes
- Utilise the warehouse management system to accurately label products for traceability.
- Perform picking and packing duties, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately
- Maintain an organised work area, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld
- Conduct quality control checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards
- Engage in heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to proper lifting techniques
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform quality control checks effectively
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving items safely within the warehouse environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
The role is working in cold environments in our warehouse.
