Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating tractors and associated machinery to support agricultural or construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to operate specialised equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and related machinery, including excavators, to perform tasks such as land preparation, planting, or material movement.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are maintained.
- Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimise downtime.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using excavators or other heavy equipment as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating tractors.
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Strong attention to safety procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

Pay: From £14.23 per hour
