White Ash successfully meets the needs of pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs from the ages of 4 to 11 years old. We are a happy, nurturing and successful school. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 1 to support our SEN pupils across all phases in school. The successful applicants must be able to form positive relationships with children and young people and be willing to undertake various tasks to support our pupils including: helping within class, assistance at lunchtimes, play duties, toileting and personal care. Our young people have a wide range of complex learning difficulties so a kind and caring attitude is essential.
The hours are 8.45am to 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday is 8.45am to 4.15pm.
As the position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
This is a fixed term position ending 31/12/2027 with a possibility of extension.
