Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a desire to educate and inspire players to reach their full potential in a 1-2-1 or group coaching setting.
Duties
- Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions
- Set up using our speciliazed coaching equipment appropriate designed sessions
- Develop training programmes tailored to individual and team needs
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance performance
- Motivate and inspire players to achieve their best
- Organise and supervise team practices and lead weekly academy programs
- Deliver within our holiday programme working on Football Development Camps
Qualifications
- Coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Minimum of SFA Level 1.2 (Desireable) but will consider candiates with experience and no qualifications
- HND/BSc Sports Coaching or similar field (Desireable) but will consider candiates with no qualification
- PVG required for this role
Experience
- Experience coaching football sessions at academy level (Desirable)
- Experience developing, delivering and evaluating technical/physical training programmes for groups/teams (Desirable)
- Previous experience playing football or being involved in a football enviroment
- Previous experience delivering 1-2-1 football sessions (Desireable but not essential as training is provided)

- Enthuiastic and energetic
- High-level planning and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of football techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Able to effectively operate in a team to optimise provision of a service
- High levels of confidence in your coaching ability to lead sessions and communicate with players and parents
- A keen interest in coaching/sport science practices in relation to football
- A keen interest in coach development
- Full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle

Job Type: Part-time/Self Employed
Pay: Our pay scheme is very competitive with coaches pay increasing with Qualification and number of clients. For example, if you were delivering a 1-2-1 coaching session you would get a set rate, if you were delivering a 2-2-1 coaching session that rate would significantly increase. Coaching a 3-2-1 and 4-2-1 session would also increase further.
All group sessions (more than 5 clients) are based at 25GBP per hour regardless of qualifications.
Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
Additional pay:
