What you'll be doing
You'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse operation running safely and efficiently, ensuring materials and finished products are moved, stored and dispatched correctly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Moving materials to support production requirements
- Preparing and staging products for dispatch
- Carrying out stock control and stock rotation activities
- Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect goods
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Using warehouse systems and scanning equipment where required
- Operating the baler and managing waste streams
- Following all health, safety, quality and environmental procedures
- Supporting wider warehouse activities as required
You'll be successful if you...
✔ Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
✔ Have previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience
✔ Are comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
✔ Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Take pride in working safely
✔ Enjoy working as part of a team
✔ Are reliable, punctual and dependable
✔ Can work a rotating 4 on 4 off day and night shift pattern
It would be great if you also have
- Flexi Truck Licence
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Stock control or inventory experience
- Team leader or supervisory experience
