Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning, or those with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Assist with additional tasks such as light cooking or hospitality duties if required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
- Customer service skills are desirable to interact professionally with clients or guests
- Experience in cooking or hospitality can be considered a plus but is not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or additional responsibilities as needed
- DBS is required we can carry out if which is chargeable upfront
