We’re recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading precision engineering and aerospace manufacturer based in Wrexham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality professional to play a key role in maintaining AS9100 compliance, improving quality systems and driving continuous improvement across the business.
The Role
- Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems and procedures.
- Lead root cause analysis, NCRs and corrective actions.
- Carry out internal, supplier and external quality audits.
- Support customer and regulatory audits, including NADCAP.
- Manage PPAP/APQP, FMEA, Control Plans and process capability.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Inspection and Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor quality KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Support NPI, specification reviews and production release activities.
- Liaise with customers on quality-related matters.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive Quality Engineer with experience within aerospace, precision engineering or another regulated manufacturing environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience working to AS9100 or a similar quality standard.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor training/experience.
- Strong knowledge of 8D, FMEA, PPAP, CAPA and SPC.
- Experience managing non-conformances and root cause investigations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with customers and suppliers.
- ERP/QMS experience would be advantageous.

- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
