Deputy Manager - Residential Care
Oxford | £46,000 to £54,000 + Excellent Benefits
Some care homes talk about person-centred care. We genuinely live it.
We're looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our beautiful, purpose-built residential care home in Oxford. From the moment you walk through our doors, you'll find a warm, welcoming environment where residents enjoy an exceptional quality of life and our team takes real pride in the care they provide.

Many of our team stay with us for years because we invest in them. We offer competitive salaries, excellent learning and development opportunities and a supportive culture where people are encouraged to grow their careers. You'll be joining a stable and experienced leadership team that believes outstanding care starts with outstanding people.
Working closely with our Registered Manager, you'll help lead the home, support and inspire the wider team and play a key role in our ongoing journey towards an Outstanding CQC rating. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining operational leadership with quality improvement, staff development and delivering exceptional care.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the home and deputising in their absence.
- Championing outstanding, person-centred care and helping residents enjoy fulfilling, independent lives.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and supporting our ambition to achieve and maintain Outstanding standards.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues to help them reach their full potential.
- Supporting audits, investigations, resident feedback and action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Assisting with admissions, care planning and the smooth day-to-day operation of the home.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and colleagues to achieve the very best outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role within a residential care home, such as Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead.
- A strong background in elderly care and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop high-performing teams.

- Strong organisational and IT skills, with a good understanding of quality assurance, compliance and care management systems.
What you'll receive
- Salary of £46,000 to £54,000.
- The opportunity to join a highly respected independent charity with an excellent reputation.
- A stunning modern working environment with first-class facilities.
- Ongoing investment in your professional development and training.
