- 1 based at Cannock (Mon-Wed)
- 1 based at Lichfield (Wed-Fri).

Are you a confident communicator who prides themselves on strong and compassionate customer service? Would you thrive on working efficiently and effectively within our wider mental health admin team? If so we would encourage your application, even if your experience looks a little different from what we have identified and you think you can bring a good work ethic to this role.
Ideally you would hold a Business Admin qualification eg NVQ level 2 (or equivalent and/or experience), however this is not essential as full training is given. We support training and ambition with many of our Admin Assistants having been successful in achieving promotional posts within our Service or the wider Trust. Staff meet with the Admin Team Manager regularly for 1-to-1 supervision sessions and annual appraisals.
To be successful in this role you will be required be organised, professional and adaptable with a sound level of written and spoken English.
This Admin Assistant role includes:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Personal resilience to handle lots of challenging telephone calls
- Using our clinical system RiO, inputting, creating letters etc
- Completing a wide range of admin tasks from an electronic workflow inbox
- Scanning, uploading and copying.
. Ability to produce quality documents in a very busy environment
. Good time management and prioritising work
. Welcoming and professional cover for our reception areas where needed
