Role Overview:
As a key player in our pharmacy team, your primary role involves managing one of our organised dispensaries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing Prescriptions: Accurately dispensing medications as per the prescribers' instructions, prioritising patient safety.
- Communication : Acting as the first point of contact for patients, healthcare professionals, and suppliers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Stock Management: Implementing efficient stock control measures and making cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Maintaining Standards: Upholding the cleanliness and organisational standards of the dispensary.
Who We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: A Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services Skills and Pharmaceutical Science is preferred, but not essential. Candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. We are able to upskill you to a Level 3 Technician and/or ACT.
- Experience: Ideally, you'll have at least one year of experience in community pharmacy or dispensing.
- Attention to Detail: Your ability to concentrate and maintain high levels of accuracy is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships.
- Teamwork and Initiative: While you're a team player at heart, you're also capable of working independently when needed.
