Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company policies
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments, and provide correct change
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Engage with guests to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in bar operations with cocktail experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving techniques, including handling cash transactions and POS systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
