Overview
We are a destination pub & restaurant with a growing reputation for good food and a good selection of drinks. We're looking for a 2nd Chef/Cook/Catering Assistant to join our team, supporting the creation of high quality seasonal and themed dishes.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic and keen to support the development of our menus and dining experience.
We're passionate about development so full training and support will be given by our talented and experienced Head Chef. We're a small team so teamwork and a good work ethic is a must.
We offer a friendly working environment and flexibility around hours to support a good work/life balance. Full or part time hours will be considered and you will be paid weekly, every Monday.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to high standards of food preparation, storage and production.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
- Contribute to the creation of exciting seasonal and themed menus using fresh, local ingredients.
- Work closely with Management & Head Chef to drive the success of the restaurant.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute positively to a team environment that encourages customer focus, creativity and efficiency.
Experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen.
- A passion for cooking and delivering a positive dining experience for guests.
- Customer focussed.
- Great work ethic and willingness to consistently work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and cooking techniques a bonus but training will be given.

Pay: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
