Job Summary
We are looking for an assistant/ front of house manager who will take lead when it comes to running the floor. A genuine smile and confidence to ensure that you can support the team and ensure every guest receives a warm, personal experience.
Understanding people and making every customer feel special is at the heart of this role. We need someone who remembers guests names, notices the little details and makes everyone feel genuinely welcome.
The role
- Work with the food and beverage manager to lead and motivate the team during every service
- Welcome guests warmly and build rapore in the building especially with regulars
- Deliver perfect service and ensure the team are doing so too, a warm introduction, checkbacks, just ensure customers are really getting the Brooks experience we aim for
- Manage the booking system, email for pre-orders and ensure the kitchen team are being communicated with this information, ensure all enquiries are responded to and managed accordingly
- Ensure booking notes are adhered to such as birthdays, celebrations, low tables
- Lead by example and give recommendations to the guests, we specialise in wine and cheese, being able to give recommendations or having the will to learn about these is a must
- Supporting the F&B manager with team training to ensure the team are given the best tools to fulfil their job to the best of their ability
Experience
- Previous experience in a similiar role or management role would be essential
- Knowledge of wine and cheese isn't vital but would be preferred
