As an Apprentice Early Years Educator, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You will learn how to provide high-quality care, create engaging learning environments, observe and plan for children’s development, and build positive relationships with families. Full training and study time will be provided to support you in completing your apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s daily routines, wellbeing, and learning through high-quality interactions.
- Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities within the EYFS framework.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to their learning journals (with support).
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection are always upheld.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures, including health & safety and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with your mentor and team to complete your apprenticeship tasks and training requirements.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and reviews as required.

Essential Requirements
- Must be able to undertake an Early Years Apprenticeship.
- Clear enhanced DBS check (completed before start date).
- Right to work in the UK.
