Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in a culinary role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients and organise workstations for efficient meal production
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Support the kitchen team in meal assembly and presentation
- Maintain organisation of kitchen tools, utensils, and ingredients
- Assist with serving food to customers or guests as required
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is desirable
- Traditional baking skills would be a bonus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
- Experience in meal preparation and culinary tasks preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role
