Due to Company expansion we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Fitter to join our busy team (min 2 years experience). The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in vehicle maintenance and possess the necessary technical skills to perform tyre-related services efficiently. Role Requirements
- Knowledge of tyre brands and specs
- Experience with tyre machines
- Must hold a full UK drivers licence
- Ability to operate all tools safely and effectively in a workshop environment
- Reliable, punctual and a team player
- Motivated for a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
- Good organisational skills for managing multiple jobs efficiently
- A minimum of 2 years prior experience in tyre fitting is essential
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following health & safety protocols
- Working Hours - Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (40 Hours)
Duties
- Remove and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles using appropriate hand and power tools
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and proper tread depth, advising customers on necessary repairs or replacements
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation and minimise vibrations
- Carry out puncture repairs as required
- Have a working knowledge of tyre brands and specs
- Manage and order tyre stock to maintain tyre numbers at appropriate levels
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose tyre-related issues and recommend suitable solutions
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling tyres and wheels of various sizes
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle
