The ideal candidate is a dedicated and energetic self starter, they will be committed to delivering outstanding guest services in a leisure club which is located in a 4 star hotel setting.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the customer satisfaction of our guests while providing exceptional hospitality and information, whilst maintaining high health and safety and cleanliness standards.
Your role in brief
- Greeting customers and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner, in person or by phone, monitoring and controlling entry to the club.
- Complying with general responsibilities of health and safety and hygiene.
- Carrying out all duties whilst adhering to the company’s policy on customer care.
- Assist in the upkeep of the gym and pool area to provide a safe and pleasant space for members and guests alike
- Have a hands-on approach and be willing to carry out all reasonable duties to ensure the smooth running of the club including setting up, closing down, food and beverage service and banking
- Have an awareness of health and safety issues in a gymnasium and the ability to carry out basic first aid.
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning duties in the changing rooms, fitness and pool area.
- Understand the computerised membership system, and end of day procedures as there will be reception duties involved within this role
Who are we looking for?
- Experience of working within a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels with customers and internal departments alike.
- To be able to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members.
- Level 2 Fitness instructor qualification is preferred but not essential for this role
- Pool responder, 1st Aid and pool plant trained preferred but not essential

Hours: Zero-Hour contract
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
