Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development across all areas.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being within the nursery environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive guidance and interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any concerns or incidents.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any relevant issues.
- Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines, including meal times, outdoor play, and rest periods.
- Assist in the organisation of nursery resources and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early childhood setting is essential.
- Proven management and leadership skills in managing groups of young children or supervising staff are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs is advantageous.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations is essential.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring transportation or home visits. Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
