Overview
Bricklayer required for brick/block laying in the foundations. Experienced and less experienced bricklayers are welcome but must be able to produce neat work and meet NHBC’s requirements. CCSC card required.
Duties
Lay with 100/140mm blocks, bricks, trench blocks, telescopic vents, concrete lintels and trench blocks
Use gauge knowledge to build to correct heights and datums
Build level and upright corners
Ensure cavities are correct width and that they are clean
Help with labouring duties when required
Ensure that the plot is square and to the correct dimensions
preferably able to read drawings
Take pride in your work, quality over quantity
Experience
- Years of experience not required, day rate will depend on ability
Pay: £120.00-£220.00 per day
