We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Fabricator/Maker to join our dynamic team. Apprentice/Trainee will also be considered for this role.
You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into high-quality, custom cabinetry and furniture pieces. Your expertise in fabrication, assembly, and finishing will ensure that each project meets precise specifications and exceeds client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and tools, contributing to beautiful, functional spaces. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry and furniture components with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, drills, and joinery equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform finishing tasks including sanding, and sealing to achieve a polished appearance
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure timely completion of projects within quality standards
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move materials and completed pieces safely on-site or within the workshop
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry with a strong understanding of joinery techniques
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, routers, saws)
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during fabrication or installation tasks
- Experience with construction for finishing touches on cabinetry or furniture pieces
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges
