About the Role
Your role will be to maintain a clean, hygienic, and presentable office and factory entrance by carrying out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, quality, and food hygiene requirements. You will be responsible for the cleaning of the offices, meeting rooms, corridors, kitchens, and toilets. Training will be provided on-site, and uniform and equipment will be supplied for you.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Typically, early morning or out-of-hours.
Flexibility required, with occasional overtime as needed.
Part-time or full-time options available.
Key Responsibilities
Keep all office areas, including toilets, carpets, floors, furniture, surfaces, and internal windows, clean and sanitised.
Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly, trying to minimise waste wherever possible.
Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and paper towels.
Complete and sign-off checklists in line with the cleaning schedule.
Wear appropriate PPE and always use correct cleaning chemicals, following company Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or hazards to management.
Work independently while contributing positively to the team.
Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.
Maintain a professional, polite, and respectful manner when working around staff.
Adopt a flexible, proactive, and "can-do" attitude.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
Basic understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Personal Qualities
Professional and discreet.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
Friendly and respectful.
Flexible and willing to cover shifts if required.
