Fantastic opportunity to join Bunzl as a multidrop delivery driver in our Tamworth Depot, based in Birch Coppice.
We deliver essential non-food catering supplies to a range of clients including the Public Sector, NHS, Military, restaurants, cafes and hotels.

JOD DESCRIPTION
- Multi drop deliveries between 15 and 23 drops per day.
- Looking for a person to carry out deliveries in town centres, including Birmingham city centre, Nottingham, and Leicester.
- Deliveries are made using pump truck and sack barrel, all stock is palletised (multiple customers on one pallet)
- Drivers are required to break down the pallets and deliver inside customer premises. Not doorstep deliveries.
- Ensure that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
- Ensure duties are carried out within legal requirements.
- Ensure all scheduled deliveries and collections are completed on time, in full on a daily basis.
- Deliver to customers as directed and assist with unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested. Report any problems with delivery sites.
- Ensure that all POD paperwork is correct and signed for either on paper or electronically using Microlise device.
- Present a professional image to the customer, be pleasant and comply with company dress requirements.
FLEXIBILITY
Flexibility is key to any transport operation, so willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role. Use of your initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Driving Licence C1 Category
Driver Digital Driver Card
Driver Qualification Card
Satisfactory driving record
Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
Knowledge of East Midlands area preffered.
ROLE
Contract Term: Permanent
Contract Hours: 45 Hours per week working Monday to Friday (No weekends and bank holidays)
Holidays : 28 days, inclusive of public holidays. Raising by one day with each completed year of service up to maximum of 33 days, inclusive public holidays.

Pay: £32,800.00 per year
