Major Recruitment are recruiting Class 1 drivers on days and backs for a client in Stockton. These vacancies are immediate starts and ongoing for the right candidates. Candidates must have previous container experience and have no more than 6 points.
Duties include:
· Delivery/collection of containers on a nationwide basis.
· Daily/weekly vehicle inspections.
· Reporting of defects/incidents/accidents.
· Managing of driver hours.
· On average between 4-6 days per week
Candidates must hold:
· Current CE licence.
· Digi Card.
· Driver CPC.
· No more than 6 points for minor offences.
Hours of work and pay rate are:
· 0500 to 0800 starts.
· 10-12 hours per day.
· Paid breaks
· £15.50 per hour days, £16.50 per hour backs (PAYE)
· Time and a half after 8 hours
· £23.25 per hour (Saturday)
· £29.00 per hour (Sunday)
