Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve beverages, maintain cleanliness, and assist in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining basic maths skills for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to maintain bar operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A commitment to upholding food safety standards and providing excellent customer service.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work well within a team are essential qualities for this role.
