Job Purpose
To support with the delivery of high quality football sessions as a coach, within our Female Shadow Scholarship Programme. Working together to follow the departmental syllabus and support individual learning plans.
Qualifications
Essential
- UEFA C (FA Level 2)
- FA First Aid qualification (or willingness to update)
- FA Safeguarding certification (or willingness to update)
Desirable
- UEFA B Coaching Qualification
- Mental Health First Aid
- Experience of the National Football Youth League
Experience
Essential
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience Coaching in a range of environments.
- Experience of providing technical and tactical information
- Experience in engaging, communicating and working with diverse communities, ages, and abilities.
- Experience in effectively managing and prioritising multiple tasks, and responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and practices, with experience in ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, staff, and volunteers in community settings.
- Experience of conducting Risk Assessments both formally (pre) and dynamic (during) the delivery of sessions.
Desirable
- Understanding of technology used in football e.g. VEO/GPS
- Understanding of sports analysis and using stats to develop tactics and inform ILP’s
- Experience of working in a professional environment
