About the role
We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to grow our client base across South East London by building relationships in the local community, generating referrals, and raising our brand profile. This is a hands-on, relationship-led role for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, networking with healthcare professionals, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.
What you will do
- Develop new relationships with healthcare professionals, local businesses and community contacts to generate referrals
- Lead the end-to-end sales process with prospective clients, managing a pipeline from first contact to onboarding
- Raise brand awareness through marketing, networking and local events
- Create content and manage the business's social media accounts
- Identify and develop strategic plans to target referral partners based on our mission and values
- Work closely with Care Operations and Quality to translate market needs into client solutions
- Support the recruitment and selection of care staff in line with the business plan
- Meet KPIs for client acquisition and caregiver recruitment and retention
What we are looking for
- Proven business development, sales or marketing experience (home care, health or social care sector a strong advantage)
- A confident networker who can build trust through a consultative approach
- A good understanding of, or willingness to learn, the Care Act and CQC standards
- Self-motivated, target-driven and community-minded
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is a plus but not essential (the role involves some local travel)
