The Role
- Teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
- Preparing students for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements.
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing timely feedback.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the department.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is ideally looking for an experienced Food Technology Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Food Technology and/or Hospitality & Catering at secondary level.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Is committed to raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
