YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ROLE
At the heart of our business, you will play a key role in moving vehicles across the UK for some of the nation's leading automotive brands. Groupe CAT is a leading Automotive Logistics company within the UK car delivery industry.
Your responsibilities:
YOUR PROFILE
Holder of HGV Class 1 Licence (CE)
Hold a valid digital tachograph card
CPC qualification (required)
Transporter experience (preferred)
No more than 6 points on your licence
Interpersonal skills
Good communication: skills for clear and professional communication with customers, dealerships, collection and delivery sites, and internal transport teams.
Customer Service: representing the company positively when delivering vehicles and dealing with customer queries or concerns.
Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers, colleagues, planners, and site contacts.
Professionalism: Demonstrating a courteous, respectful, and positive attitude at all times.
Teamwork: Working closely with transport planners, logistics teams, and fellow drivers to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
Problem Solving: Remaining calm and finding practical solutions when faced with delays, access issues, vehicle defects, or schedule changes.
Adaptability: Responding positively to changing priorities, routes, and customer requirements.
Attention to Detail: Accurately completing vehicle inspections, delivery documentation, and reporting any damage or defects.
Time Management: Managing delivery schedules effectively while keeping customers and colleagues informed of any delays.
Conflict Resolution: Handling complaints or challenging situations professionally and diplomatically.
