Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Shop Assistant/Barista to join our team during school hours. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Follow food preparation guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Starting wage £12.80 per hour then a wage review at 3 month and 6 months.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments confidently.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Pay: £12.80-£15.00 per hour
