Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and well-being in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages children’s curiosity and independence
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support individual development plans
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across the nursery or childcare setting at all times
- Manage daily routines including meal times, nappy changing, and sleep schedules in accordance with individual needs
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills with children, parents, and team members
- Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and sharing best practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements relating to childcare
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Demonstrable management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative independently
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between settings or home visits

Pay: £28,420.00-£31,937.74 per year
