We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service from our Denton office. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to driving quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the continued growth of our organisation.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all CQC regulations and delivering outstanding care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, Health and Social Care Act 2008, and all relevant legislation.
- Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop a team of care coordinators, senior carers, and care staff.
- Promote and maintain a culture of person-centred, safe, and compassionate care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS partners, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor service quality through audits, spot checks, supervisions, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, medication management, and incident reporting.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, rotas, and service performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Support business development by promoting the growth of the service and maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and timely submission of reports.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience working with Local Authorities, NHS commissioners, and private clients.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards completion).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience managing domiciliary care services within Greater Manchester.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, rota management, and electronic care planning systems.
- Business development and service growth experience.

Location
