We’re looking for a Lettings Consultant / Negotiator to join our friendly Canterbury team, helping prospective tenants find their next home while delivering an excellent service to both tenants and landlords.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll conduct viewings, manage enquiries, market available properties and build strong relationships with tenants and property owners.

We pride ourselves on providing quality accommodation and delivering an excellent service to our tenants and landlords. As the business continues to grow, we are also looking to expand further into the professional lettings market.
What you’ll be doing
- Responding to enquiries from prospective tenants by telephone, email and social media
- Booking and carrying out property viewings
- Helping applicants find a property that suits their requirements
- Following up after viewings and progressing offers and applications
- Liaising with landlords and providing regular, detailed updates
- Creating, updating and managing property adverts across online property portals
- Ensuring property descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate
- Monitoring the performance of property adverts and refreshing listings when required
- Promoting available properties through social media
- Keeping property and applicant records accurate and up to date
- Developing a strong understanding of our properties and the local lettings market
- Supporting the wider office team with general administration during busy periods
- Helping to attract new landlords and tenants and identifying opportunities to grow the business
- Working with the team to meet agreed targets and maintain a high standard of customer service
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing, approachable and confident when speaking with people
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable communicating by telephone, email and face to face
- Motivated, driven and willing to learn
- Thorough and attentive to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident using computers, social media and online systems
- Interested in property and the local lettings market
- Willing to contribute ideas and grow alongside the business
Previous lettings or estate agency experience would be preferred but is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you will travel to properties to conduct viewings.

- Salary of £24,000–£28,000, depending on experience
