Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as sand and cement felt,fibreglass,pvc gutter,tiles or slates
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Apply waterproofing materials to prevent leaks and water damage
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights
Skills:
- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve roofing issues
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and installations
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate with clients
