At Clean Spring Flowers, we care for beautiful private homes and luxury properties throughout the Cotswolds. We are currently seeking a warm, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support a lovely family in Stroud three days a week, while becoming part of our supportive, professional team.
About the Role & Family
This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working in a family home and takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and calm environment.
The placement family has young children (aged 10 months to 3 years) and a small, very friendly dog. They already have a cleaner who handles regular basic deep cleans once a week. So your role centers on day-to-day household operations, organization, and those extra touchpoints that make family life run smoothly.
The family has a strong preference for natural, non-toxic cleaning methods and whole-food ingredients, so someone who shares this ethos will be a fantastic fit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Laundry & Wardrobes: Washing, ironing, folding, and putting clothes away; organizing cupboards, wardrobes, and children’s belongings.
- Household Organization: Keeping the home running smoothly, maintaining order, and proactively handling light tidying.
- Basic Batch Cooking: Preparing simple, natural meals for the family (a strong advantage).
- General Housekeeping: Maintaining high standards across living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms, with periodic deep cleaning when required.
- Pet Friendly: Comfortably working around a friendly family dog.

Pay & Contract Options:
- Self-Employed: £15.00 per hour (Paid weekly, maximum flexibility and higher rate).
- Employed: £13.10 per hour (Monthly salary, full statutory employment benefits, plus weekly reimbursement for mileage and expenses).

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm, reliable, trustworthy, and naturally proactive.
- Experienced in domestic housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, or professional home management.
- Enthusiastic about natural, non-toxic approaches to household care.
- Comfortable and happy around young children and pets.
- Happy working independently with exceptional attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle to travel between appointments.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (required for working in private client homes).
