About the Role:
As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Facilitate contractor access and ensure they can carry out their work without obstruction.
- Monitor the heating system and other building services, reporting any irregularities promptly.
- To liaise with the Chartered Surveyor responsible for overarching building management
- Apply effective problem‑solving skills when addressing routine operational issues.
- Undertake any additional reasonable duties assigned by operational management, excluding technical tasks such as joinery, electrical work, or plumbing.
- Demonstrate previous experience in a comparable role, or to possess sufficient practical skills—whether gained professionally or through relevant hobbies—to confidently and competently undertake the required tasks. As the role involves physical activity, including lifting and moving items, an appropriate level of physical fitness is essential.

What we are looking for:
- To hold a current DS SIA Licence
- Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
