Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landscaper/groundworker This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of horticultural knowledge, mechanical skills, and experience with various tools and machinery used in landscape maintenance and construction.
Duties
- Must be able to lay tarmac block paving slabs etc
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators to carry out landscaping projects.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for gardens and landscapes.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in construction projects related to landscaping, including the installation of pathways, patios, and garden features and driveways
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping designs that meet client specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and excavators safely.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness with the capability to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
