Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Waitress/Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team, with previous experience in waiting. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, enforcing our Japanese culture which will be taught to you. Delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and a welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating clearly with kitchen staff and baristas
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials and recommended items to enhance their experience
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and serving processes
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional guest services to foster loyalty
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences
- Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and transactions
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus, helping in understanding food presentation and timing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Upselling abilities to promote menu items and increase sales potential
