An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Home Care Assistants to join our domiciliary care services in Barnsley.

Responsibilities for our Care assistants
- To complete induction and foundation training if you have no experience working in care
- To undertake and complete NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum standard requirement.
- Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager, people you support and organisation.
- To be person centered in all aspects of your role.

Duties:
- Supporting and assisting with all personal care requirements
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the client.
- Preparing meals and supporting patients with nutritional intake.
- Responding to emergency situations
- Prompting and administering medication
