Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for collection, ensuring that all products are handled with care and following quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick orders based on route requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before dispatch.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that stock is stored correctly and accessible.
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and order statuses.
- Assist with collection and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse operations and processes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge related to warehouse equipment.
- Experience in quality control processes within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with picking, packing, and stock management practices.
- Ability to navigate a warehouse management system effectively.
- Experience in receiving processes is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Full and valid UK or EU manual driving license is required.
- Due to the terms of our motor insurance policy, drivers must be aged 21 and over.
