RP Tyre & Battery is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter / Wheel Aligner to join our established automotive service team. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical competence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Tyre fitting — Conduct the removal, fitting, balancing, and repair of tyres across a variety of vehicle types.
- Wheel alignment — Perform accurate 2‑ and 4‑wheel alignment using advanced alignment systems.
- Customer communication — Provide clear, professional advice regarding tyre wear, alignment issues, and vehicle safety.
- Workshop standards — Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment.
- Safety inspections — Complete thorough pre‑service and post‑service checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in tyre fitting and wheel alignment.
- Proficiency with modern alignment equipment (e.g., Pro Align).
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.

Working hours and Holiday
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30 pm with a lunch hour, Holidays are 28 days per year including bank Holidays and we are closed for Christmas and New Year's Day
