Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior CNC Paint Line Operator to oversee and operate our specialised painting line which sprays using a CNC controlled robot.
The ideal candidate will have experiance in CNC machine operating including basic programming and a background in manual paint spraying.
This role involves managing the paint line process, maintaining equipment, ensuring the Paint Line is run optimally and that the right quality is achieved in the most efficient manner.
Key responsibilities
- Programming the robot – creating and maintaining recipes
- Ensure the right recipes are used for the right items, optimising efficiency on the line.
- Ensuring the correct level of finishing is carried out on the line, optimising how efficient the line is working, whilst maintaining the right level of quality.
- Work to the schedule in order of what items are hung and painted when
- Ensure items are hung appropriately, to maximise spraying efficiency and quality
- Ensure the robot is running efficiently through achieving the right paint thickness in the quickest time.
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out as required including creating and adhering to a maintenance schedule.
- Ensure all regular checks are carried out appropriately including creating and adhering to a defined daily/weekly checklist.
- Provide training as required, for other team members, on the use of the Robot line.
- Book items (scanning) on & off the line.
- Assist with de-nibbing
- Assist with ‘sponging-off’ post flow-coat to remove drips and pooling
- To observe Health and Safety rules and be observant to possible hazards within the workplace
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating CNC machinery or similar automated production lines.
- Previous experiance and knowledge of manual paint spraying preferebly with water based paint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of quality control.

Pay: £15.50-£20.00 per hour
